Collision with a Bear? What NY Law Says to Do Next

According to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), as many as 100 bears are struck and killed by vehicles in the state each year. While that number pales in comparison to deer-related collisions, which occur in the thousands, the size and danger of a bear make these incidents especially serious.
