Person Sent to Hospital After Rollover Wreck on Kensington Expy in NE Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY – A driver was rushed to a hospital Thursday morning after their vehicle overturned on the Kensington Expressway in northeast Buffalo, according to WGRZ.

The accident happened on a stretch of the expressway near the city’s Grider neighborhood, prompting an emergency response at about 9:12 a.m.

Local officials did not immediately specify the circumstances of the wreck, but at least one vehicle overturned, causing the left lanes in both directions to shut down.

It was not immediately clear how many vehicles or parties were impacted.

As of 11:25 a.m., more than two hours later, the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
