Passenger, 95, Dies Following Two-Vehicle Wreck on NY 394 in Chautauqua County

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, NY – A 95-year-old woman succumbed to injuries suffered in a collision last Thursday afternoon in the Town of Ellicott, reports WKBW.

The accident unfolded on State Route 394 at Water Street, on October 10, at about 3:30 p.m.

According to local police, a 66-year-old woman from Warren, Pennsylvania, was driving a vehicle that entered the path of another vehicle driven by a 41-year-old woman from Kennedy.

Following the collision, the 95-year-old woman, a Sinclairville resident who was a passenger in the first vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Both drivers were transported to UPMC Chautauqua, but no information regarding their conditions has been made available.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. No charges or citations have been confirmed at this time.
