ERIE COUNTY, NY – Authorities were called to a multi-car collision Friday morning on Interstate 90 near Cheektowaga, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes near William Street (Exit 52A). It was first reported at about 11:06 a.m.
Very few details have been released at this time, but the left and center lanes were blocked from the Highway 400 interchange and beyond. The scene caused a traffic backup spanning over 3 miles long.
