CHEEKTOWAGA, NY – One person was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being hit by a vehicle while operating a motorcycle in Cheektowaga, according to WIVB 4.
The accident happened on Walden Avenue, at the driveway to Sonic Car Wash. Cheektowaga Police responded to the scene just before 5:00 p.m.
Preliminary details indicated one driver was leaving the business when their vehicle collided with the motorcyclist, who was traveling eastbound on Walden.
First responders rushed the rider to Erie County Medical Center for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The other driver received treatment at the scene, indicating more minor injuries.
A section of Walden Avenue was blocked off during the emergency response and investigation.
