BUFFALO, NY – One person was taken into custody last Friday night following a suspected DWI collision in northeast Buffalo that injured two people, reports WGRZ.
The wreck occurred at about 7:00 p.m. on the westbound lanes of State Highway 33 between Best Street and Jefferson Avenue.
Buffalo Police confirmed that two people were transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) for injuries considered minor.
One other person was arrested for an investigation into driving while impaired.
Motorists in the area were diverted off NY 33 onto Best Street through Exit 33 following a road closure at 7:56 p.m.
By 8:40 p.m., nearly an hour later, all lanes were reopened to traffic.
