ERIE COUNTY, NY – A rollover collision Thursday morning on Interstate 290 near Amherst left at least one person hurt, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of I-290 between Millersport Highway and Interstate 990. It was first reported at about 7:41 a.m.
While the cause of the wreck has not been disclosed to the public, preliminary details show one vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and came to rest in a nearby ditch.
Motorists in the area were advised of delays impacting westbound I-290 from Sheridan Drive to I-990.
Officials have not confirmed the number of people injured or the severity of their conditions.
