ERIE COUNTY, NY – Multiple vehicles were involved in a collision Wednesday morning, September 5, on Interstate 290 near Williamsville, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The accident happened on the eastbound lanes past Main Street, or State Highway 5, in an area northeast of Buffalo. It was first reported by WGRZ at 8:45 a.m.
At the time of WGRZ’s report, crews had cleared the multi-vehicle wreck from the center lane to the right shoulder of the highway. Despite the scene clearance, traffic was at a standstill down to Millersport Highway.
