ERIE COUNTY, NY – Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of an injury collision Thursday morning on Interstate 190 on Grand Island, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The accident happened on the southbound highway at Bedell Road and was first reported by WGRZ at 8:22 a.m.
Little information has been shared with the public at this time, but officials warned of a traffic backup that stretched down to Whitehaven Road.
It was not immediately clear how many people were injured or how badly.
