BUFFALO, NY – Injuries were reported after a five-vehicle collision last Saturday, August 24, near Buffalo Harbor State Park, according to WGRZ.
The collision took place on the Buffalo Skyway near the exit to Ohio Street just before 5:00 p.m., leading to a closure of the eastbound lanes from Tift Street to Interstate 190.
Officials did not immediately say what caused the multi-vehicle accident, but at least one of the involved cars overturned.
At least one person was confirmed hurt, but South District officers indicated that the injuries were not believed to be serious.
First responders remained on the scene until about 7:00 p.m.
No pending charges have been shared with the public.
