BUFFALO, NY – Inbound commuters faced delays late last Friday afternoon, August 16, due to a multi-vehicle collision on State Highway 33 in northeast Buffalo, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The accident happened a little past Humboldt Parkway, near the city’s Kingsley area. It was first reported shortly before 4:56 p.m.
Officials did not immediately say what led up to the wreck, but the center and left westbound lanes were closed as a result.
Motorists were warned of a mile-long traffic backup impacting the area.
