ERIE COUNTY, NY – One person lost their life as a result of crash involving a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle Thursday afternoon in Depew, according to WGRZ.

Depew Police said the fatal incident occurred on Broadway near Indian Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 3:30 p.m.

While officials have not shared any information indicating the cause or nature of the collision, an investigation was initiated.

A section of Broadway was shut down in both directions during the response but reopened about four hours later.
