At least 1 left hurt after crash involving overturned box truck on I-190 near Buffalo’s Front Park

BUFFALO, NY – Multiple vehicles, including a box truck, were involved in a collision last Friday, July 19, north of downtown Buffalo that left at least one person injured, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.

The accident happened on the southbound lanes past Niagara Street, near the city’s Front Park. It was first reported shortly before 9:56 a.m.

Local officials have not disclosed the circumstances of the event, but a box truck rolled onto its side, blocking all southbound lanes in the area.

Motorists were advised to avoid the section of southbound I-190 that runs from State Route 198 to the Buffalo Skyway.

It was not immediately apparent how many people were hurt and how badly.
