BUFFALO, NY – Two people were injured as a result of a two-vehicle wreck early Wednesday near Tops Elmwood Plaza in north Buffalo, according to WIVB 4.

Buffalo Police said the accident happened in the area of Hinman Avenue and Elmwood Avenue, at about 2:15 a.m.

Preliminary details show two people were in a vehicle traveling northbound on Elmwood when it was hit by a four-door Toyota heading westbound on Hinman.

Both occupants of the victim vehicle were transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) for unspecified injuries. As of this writing, officials have not released any information about their condition.

It’s unclear at this time whether charges are expected to be filed, but an investigation remains in progress.
