ERIE COUNTY, NY – Authorities were called to a vehicle accident late Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 90 near Cheektowaga, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The crash took place on the eastbound lanes of I-90 between Interstate 190 (Exit 53) and William Street (Exit (Exit 52A). It was first reported before 5:12 p.m.
Very few details have been disclosed at this time, but a photo taken at the scene indicates more than five passenger vehicles were involved, including one that came to rest on its side.
While no injuries have been confirmed, a fire engine, as well as two police vehicles, can be seen responding to the left shoulder and left lane.
