Passenger killed in Chautauqua County rollover crash, 2 others injured

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, NY – A 22-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a single-vehicle rollover collision Tuesday night in the Town of North Harmony, reports WGRZ.

The fatal accident took place on Route 394 near Carpenter-Pringle Road. Officers with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s officers were called to the area at about 7:00 p.m.

According to preliminary details, an SUV occupied by three people overturned after running off the roadway.

The young woman, a Jamestown resident and one of the passengers, was ejected during the wreck. First responders pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The driver and their other passenger suffered unspecified injuries. Both were rushed to UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash. No charges or citations have been reported as of this writing.
