Motorcyclist dies following crash with car in Town of Colden

ERIE COUNTY, NY – A 41-year-old man lost his life Monday night after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the Town of Colden, according to WIVB4.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal incident unfolded at 7291 Center Street, prompting an emergency response at about 8:00 p.m.

While an investigation into the cause of the crash remains underway, deputies arrived on the scene to find the motorcycle down. The rider, a local resident, appeared to have been ejected.

The victim was rushed to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Officials said the driver of the sedan, who remained at the scene, was not reported hurt. His passengers were also uninjured.

It’s unclear at this time which party was at fault in the wreck.
