3 hospitalized following multi-vehicle crash in north Buffalo

ERIE COUNTY, NY – Three people were injured Friday night, May 3, as a result of a multi-car crash in north Buffalo involving two parked vehicles, according to WIVB 4.

The accident unfolded near Ontario Street and Chadduck Avenue, in the city’s Riverside neighborhood, at about 9:00 p.m.

Buffalo Police said one vehicle appeared to have been speeding eastbound when it collided with another vehicle that was emerging from a parking spot. The impact of that crash sent the eastbound vehicle crashing into two parked cars.

First responders transported three people to area hospitals for a range of unspecified injuries. It’s unclear whether all three patients were occupants of the eastbound vehicle or if they were in the other vehicles at the time of the wrecks.

No charges have been confirmed at this time, as authorities continue to investigate.
