ERIE COUNTY, NY – A vehicle accident Wednesday morning created a traffic backup on eastbound Interstate 90 in southeast Buffalo, according to WBEN TrafficCommand.

The wreck occurred past State Highway 400 and was first reported by WBEN at 7:48 a.m.

Little information has been released at this time, but at the time of the report, the scene was on the right shoulder and at least two vehicles appear to have been involved.

All travel lanes were open but traffic was moving slowly, creating delays in the area.

No injuries or hospitalizations have been reported following the event.
