ERIE COUNTY, NY – Authorities responded to an injury collision Tuesday morning on William Street in southwest Cheektowaga, according to WGRZ TrafficTracker2.
The accident happened at the intersection with Harlem Road and was first reported shortly before 6:12 a.m.
No information regarding the involved parties or vehicles has been released, but a section of Harlem Road (NYS 240) was closed from Hurd Street to RV Derenda Lane. William Street was also blocked from Warsaw Street to Hedley Street.

The road closures, which forced Metro’s #1 William buses to re-route for a time, were lifted by 6:35 a.m.
