The Importance of Super Lawyers Selection
Super Lawyers recognizes top attorneys at firms of all sizes and legal practices throughout the nation. The attorneys selected to receive recognition range from those with many years of experience to rising stars in the field.
Attorneys are chosen using a multiphase selection process. Peers can nominate and evaluate lawyers who are then independently researched. The Super Lawyers process uses 12 indicators to gauge peer recognition and professional achievement. Lawyers are chosen for the list annually on a state-by-state basis.
The primary objective of Super Lawyers is to make it easier for individuals seeking legal guidance and representation. It can be challenging to find the right attorney in a vast sea of choices. R. Colin Campbell
Colin Campbell has been practicing law for over three decades. He is an accomplished trial attorney and former Judge who has received Super Lawyers designation for 15 consecutive years.
Attorney Campbell began his career in insurance defense. After several years, he decided he would rather help individuals and families, rather than insurance companies. He’s utilized his skills in defense work to obtain favorable case results for his clients ever since.
Very few U.S. attorneys have obtained seven-figure verdicts in several different areas of personal injury law. Campbell is one of them. His successes and devotion to his career have earned him many recognitions and a high level of respect within the legal community.
John T. Ryan
John T. Ryan has been a licensed attorney for almost a decade. He is the current President of the Western Region Affiliate of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Attorney Ryan focuses on personal injury litigation and medical malpractice but also handles appellate cases, which are quite challenging. He gained appellate experience from his participation in a two-year Appellate Attorney program with the New York State Supreme Court, which he completed prior to joining our firm.
Attorney Ryan’s accomplishments and high regard within the community have secured him a spot on the Super Lawyers Rising Star list for the last three years.
Jason Telaak
Jason Telaak has been practicing law for nearly 10 years. He has dedicated his career to helping injured individuals seek justice and compensation through personal injury claims.
Attorney Telaak handles many different types of personal injury matters, from vehicular collisions to wrongful death. He is part of several professional associations and enjoys developing relationships within the legal field.
Attorney Telaak has earned his selection as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2022 and 2023. He was recently recognized for obtaining a top 50 personal injury verdict in New York in 2022 and a top 100 truck accident verdict in the United States in 2022.
